Portraits in the Park – (part 1)
March 27, 2009
Recently, we scheduled an event with a local Vacaville MOPS group (Mothers of PreSchoolers) called “Portraits in the Park.” There were several families that signed up over a two day period to have family portraits taken for Easter.
The first day was beautiful and we took some wonderful shots. The children had play time on the park facilities while Howard snapped several candid shots. Once they were more comfortable with us, we went to several different locations in the park and Howard took some amazing family portraits.
Unfortunately, the second day was cold and windy, so we opted to reschedule for the following week. Somehow, it did not seem right to have little boys and girls all dressed up in their Easter suits and dresses while the wind was whipping and rain was just on the horizon.
We were able to reschedule all but 2 families for this Saturday. I just checked the weather report and Saturday is supposed to be another fabulous day, full of California sunshine. It will be perfect for a photography session in the park. Needless to say, I am very excited about the upcoming session! Make sure to check back next week for the update!
