When you expect one you get the other. So be prepared carry your camera at all times, batteries charged and lens clean.

May 27, 2009
On Saturday I was in Grass Valley. I spoke with a wildlife photographer, he is currently watching a family of bald eagles in the back country of Grass valley. He also does workshops in Costa Rica. Great conversation.
So on the way back I saw this billboard and took the shot (ok Several) of this interesting subject.
Be Ready Always
May 24, 2009
When ever I go out I make sure I have some form of a camera with me. I’ll even take out my 35mm film camera if the timing is right. The photograph is not always set up on your terms. Most of the time photo opportunities present themselves at the most inconvenient time. I was at a gas station taking pictures of something totally different and this dog was in the back of a flat bed truck. I asked the owner of the dog if I could make a couple of pictures.
So I took a few. Here is one of them

Photography anytime
May 18, 2009
Photography is not always a set routine. In fact some of the best work out there has been when the photographer least expects a shot. Sometimes asking folks to stand in a certain spot and bearing with you helps to get a good shot of them and a sunset. Give it a shot be extra outgoing and see if that doesn’t get some photo”s generated.
focus screen
May 15, 2009
The focusing of any camera is vital. Now a days every regular joe uses the point and shoot method that’s fine. But it has limitations. Do you know your cameras limitations?
When shooting in low light the camera does not have enough ambient to focus. Some cameras have a small light that comes on blinds the subject and focuses who wants that uncomfortable experience?
this is where the focusing screen comes in to the picture. In the old days the screen was used to align your subject to a perfect focus. Then when auto focus started to dominate the mfg got away from the manual focus. Well, if you are going to shoot high quality high detail shots then you need to Contact www.katzeyeoptics.com and they will set you free from all the guessing.
digital wake up call 2009
May 13, 2009
Last night I attended David Ziser”s seminar. It was informative regarding tips for weddings and events. He was clear and to the point, and wow, does he talk fast. I was tired when going, but he kept me awake with great topics and tips.
Mr. Ziser and his wife seem to be friendly and up beat. They work as a team and it is very evident they enjoy each other and love what they do. www.digitalprotalk.com
I believe here at Fenbee, my wife and I are trying to provide the best quality available. We are different than other photographers, we want more than the average wedding or portrait shot, creativity and uniqueness is what we are trying to give with out using to many tricks in post production.

HARD WORKING BEE
May 5, 2009

I watched this bee gather nectar for over an hour. Never missing a beat it gathered from each small flower, never taking a break except for the occasional time it would check on my location ( smart bee).
